REMINDER: The Stage to Screen Blogathon

The Rosebud Cinema and I are co-hosting
The Stage to Screen Blogathon
which will take place from
October 17 – 19, 2014!

It’s exactly one month until our exciting blogathon kicks off but it’s not too late to join in. If your favourite films list features a plot line taken from a piece of work originally intended for the stage then this is the event for you. Equally, if your favourite stage show has been adapted into an awful movie then this is an ideal opportunity to get those emotions out into the open. If you’d like to participate all you have to do is drop us a comment below letting us know which film/s you would like to focus on. So far we have an incredibly diverse programme stretching from the 1909 adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream to a special ‘Hopes and Fears’ themed post focusing on the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures version of Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods.

    1. You can add a hyperlink to the beginning of your post stating “this post is part of the Stage to Screen blogathon” or something like that and link it directly to this post. Alternatively, you could post a link to your post in this comments section. This is my first blogathon too so fingers crossed everything will run smoothly 🙂
